CAMPBELL BOLWELL, co-creator of Australia's gratest sports cars (with brother Graeme) has been recognised with an Order of Australia (AO) in the Australia Day Honours List.
The 1967 Mk7 shown here on the cover of Sports Car World launched the company's success from a humble shed in Mordialloc, Victoria.
Today Bolwell Coprporation is the 5th largest Composites Manufacturer on earth, having manufactured 70,000 Kenworth Truck Bodies, McDonald signage, electronics enclosures, playground equipment, yachts, promo vehicles, caravans and scores of industrial products.
Campbell has also championed a brand new Supercar.... the Nagari 500 ... the lightest Supercar on planet earth, and now recently ADR approved.
Congratulations to the ever enthusiastic, always humble gentleman, who is the 'Father' of the Australian Sports Car, the Patron of our Club and my lifelong friend.
